Australian Aboriginal Art by Nora Petyarre Club

Born in 1948 near Utopia, Nora is not only a recognized painter in her own right but she belongs to a famous family of women painters. She paints grasses, bush potato and honey ant.

  • Utopia's Women's Paintings, the first works on canvas, 1988-89 S.H. Ervin Gallery, Sydney
  • Utopia - A Picture Story, an exhibition of 88 works on silk from Holmes a Court Collection toured Eire and Scotland 1990


  • Through the Mbantua Gallery Nora's work has been exhibited extensively in the united States primarily in Tennessee and Oregon. Between 2002 and 2004 her paintings were part of over ten American Exhibitions.
