Australian Art by Dixie Wurrpamirra

Dixie Wurrpamirra was born in 1947 at Maningrida East Central Arnhem Land, Dixie works with fibre and creates objects of art: Ceremonial Regalia, Mats, Twined Baskets, Twined Hats, String Bags, Dilly Bags. Her work is superb which is why she is part of the Maningrida Collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney.
